2. Data We Collect

When you use this website, the following data may be processed:

Calculator inputs: Financial figures you enter into the Snapshot Calculator (equity, EBITDA, etc.). These are processed locally in your browser and are not transmitted to our servers unless you submit the PDF request form.
Lead form data: If you submit the "Request PDF" form, your name and e-mail address are collected via Netlify Forms and stored on Netlify's infrastructure.
Server access logs: This site is hosted on Netlify (Netlify, Inc., San Francisco, USA). Netlify automatically collects access logs including IP address, browser type, referring URL, and timestamp. See Netlify's Privacy Policy.
Local storage: A language preference key (app-lang) is stored in your browser's localStorage. No cookies are set by this site.
External resources: This site loads fonts from Google Fonts (Google Privacy Policy) and the Tailwind CSS framework from a CDN. These services may log your IP address.
Booking links: "Book a Consultation" links redirect to Cal.com (Cal.com, Inc.). Data you provide on Cal.com is subject to Cal.com's Privacy Policy.

3. Purpose and Legal Basis

Calculator operation and PDF delivery: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (performance of a service you requested).
Server logs and security: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in site security and availability).
Language preference: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in providing a usable interface).

4. Data Recipients

Netlify, Inc. (hosting, form submissions) — San Francisco, USA. Data transfers to the USA are governed by Netlify's Data Processing Agreement and standard contractual clauses.
Google LLC (Google Fonts) — USA. Font files are loaded from Google's CDN; your IP address is transmitted.
Cal.com, Inc. (booking) — USA. Only if you click a booking link and interact with Cal.com.

No data is shared with Areopa (Ltd.) automatically. Lead form submissions may be forwarded to AREOPA team members for follow-up, based on the legitimate interest of responding to your enquiry.

5. Data Retention

Lead form submissions are retained for up to 12 months or until the enquiry is resolved. Server logs are retained by Netlify according to their standard retention periods (typically 30 days). localStorage data persists in your browser until you clear it.

6. Your Rights

Under the GDPR, you have the right to:

Access the personal data we hold about you (Art. 15 GDPR)
Rectify inaccurate data (Art. 16 GDPR)
Request erasure of your data (Art. 17 GDPR)
